Amerant Bank enlists Alloy to streamline account opening processes

We’re excited to announce that Amerant Bank selected Alloy Onboarding to manage its KYC and KYB for in-branch and digital account opening. Amerant Bank is a leading regional community bank headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida with nearly $8 billion in assets. For over 40 years, the bank has been focusing on delivering a diverse portfolio of financial solutions that meet the evolving preferences and priorities of their customers.
Digital transformation for in-branch and digital account opening
Amerant originally came to Alloy to improve efficiencies during its in-branch business onboarding process by strengthening and automating its KYB capabilities and ultimately approving more business bank accounts. As a result of implementing Alloy Onboarding, all of Amerant's 25 banking centers in Florida and Texas will harness the power of Alloy's dashboard for real-time decisioning for business and individual account verification. Amerant will also leverage the tool for its online personal banking account opening.
“Alloy can sometimes be looked at as a digital-first product, but in reality, it is just as useful for optimizing in-branch account opening processes. We’re excited to help Amerant transform their account opening process across all channels - from in-branch to mobile and desktop,” said Tommy Nicholas, CEO and co-founder at Alloy.
“Providing an exceptional experience for customers, both online and in-person, is at the core of our digital transformation strategy,” said Jerry Plush, vice chairman and CEO of Amerant Bank. "With the addition of Alloy, we’ll be able to continue meeting regulatory requirements, while ensuring a faster and more seamless onboarding and underwriting process that will benefit both customers and Amerant team members.”
