Summer Workout Clothing: What to Add To Your Collection

Looking to freshen up your workout wardrobe? Here are my favorite pieces to add your summer collection:

Tennis Anyone? Pick up the Hot Hitter Skirt from Lululemon’s new line of tennis gear; grab your racquet and a friend and hit the courts. Pair it with the Make it Count tank and you’re good to go.

Surfs Up: Roxy’s High Seas Long Sleeve Spring Suit is ideal for chilly mornings on the water. The wetsuit will also protect you from mid-day rays and is perfect for surfing, SUP (stand up paddleboarding), kayaking and any water sport you’re after.

BRICK Time: If you’re training for a triathlon, you’re probably familiar with the dreaded brick session: biking and running in the same workout. Sugoi’s Blast Tri Shorts have minimal padding so you can easily transition from biking to running and be comfortable for both. I wear them for brick sessions, actual races, and also for spin classes.

Hit the Gym: C9 by Champion, available at Target, is one of my favorite brands. It’s affordable, cute and functional all at the same time. I like the C9 By Champion Seamless Fashion Cami which isn’t the most supportive sports bra, but I wear it with a built-in-bra tank or for yoga. They have more supportive options like the Reversable Racerback Bra. I’m also a fan of the basic Short Sleeve Tech Tee.

Mat Moves: MPG- Modetta Perforance Gear has a unique look and is perfect for your next yoga class. If you’re the type to bear your stomach during a workout, let me recommend the Simha Capri paired with the Flight Bra, a super cute combination.

Swim Session: For a full-body workout, hit the pool. Make sure your swimsuit has enough support to stay in place as you swim laps. My favorites are the Roxy Ace Swim Top & Bottoms and Lululemon’s Board Balance Top & Bottoms.
