21 Ways to Cope With Stress That Aren’t ‘Just Push Through it’
In this day and age, it’s a blessing if you don't have a full-blown meltdown at least once a week. Considering most of us are trying to balance our careers, relationships, and social lives, it’s easy to put your mental health on the back burner. Contrary to popular belief, stress can be a good thing for you because it can drive you to perform at your best. However, if it gets to the point where you aren’t able to focus on anything else even after you step away from a task, it can be extremely unhealthy for you and possibly be an indicator of mental illnesses like anxiety disorders or even depression.
With that being said, it’s important to know how to cope with stress in order to prevent yourself from staying in unhealthy routines. Coping can be difficult if you don’t know some surefire ways to handle it, but with this list, you should feel a lot more confident in your abilities to deal with stressful situations.
