Irresponsible Snoop Dogg Would ‘Love’ To Teach His Kids To Smoke Marijuana

Screen Shot 2013-01-04 at 9.31.50 AMJust because marijuana is becoming legal in more states doesn't mean parents should take it upon themselves to teach their kids how to get high. But that's not what rap star, Snoop Dogg things. In fact, he said he'd love to show them how to do so.

In the January issue of GQ, the 41-year-old rapper (whose real name is Calvin Broadus) said that while he wouldn't encourage marijuana use with his three kids, he'd support it:

It's not that I would ever push weed on our kids, but if they wanted to, I would love to show them how, the right way, so that way they won't get nothing put in their s— or overdose or trying some s— that ain't clean.

He went on to make it clear that he's a marijuana advocate:

It's from the earth—it's not some man-made s—. It's actually growing from the ground straight to you, so it's just like eating a vegetable. You know what I'm saying?

Yes, we know what you're saying. But does that make it right to offer to teach your kids how to smoke pot and get high? Seems to be a pretty irresponsible thing to say. Even if it is legal, that doesn't make it right. Alcohol is legal too, and no one should be saying that they're going to teach their kids how to get drunk.

Marijuana does have its place in society–like for medical needs, as Snoop Dogg also pointed out:

Cancer and diseases that never had a cure, now all of a sudden you got people taking chemotherapy, and they're also having a toke, and they live longer.

But teaching our kids how to use it? That's a stretch.

Tell us if you agree.
