If you're gluten-free, then you know it's extremely difficult to find a satisfying pizza crust. But what if you took bread completely out of the pizza equation? It may sound blasphemous to the pizza connoisseur, or to this guy, but no dough pizza is a creative and often healthier alternative to the traditional pie. Unless you're KFC and use fried chicken. Anyway, these recipes can get you started on your way to bread-free pizza heaven.

 1. Meat Crust Pizza

Meat lovers, rejoice! What this pizza lacks in bread, it makes up for in meaty goodness. But this slice may require a fork and knife.

2. Grilled & Baked Aubergine Pizza

Switch your veggies from top to bottom! Cut up some nice, thick slices of eggplant (or aubergine, if you're British) and you've got yourself a healthy replacement for a Sicilian slice.

3. Cream Cheese Crust Pizza

You'll have to be a major cheese fan for this one! This no dough recipe uses cream cheese and eggs to make a bread-like crust. Cheese on cheese. Who would've thought? Me, my whole life.

4. Zucchini Crust Pizza

This recipe takes another veggie down a level: zucchini! Not only does this pizza look delicious, the colors complement each other quite well, if I may say so.

5. Butternut Squash Crust Pizza

Whether you're on the paleo diet or not, this grain-free recipe uses squash as a crust, and it's as simple as slicing and baking. But if you require crunch in your crust, this one may not be for you.

6. Portobello Mushroom Pizza

Deep dish mini pizzas in mushroom caps! Just look how healthy these are. So healthy that I wouldn't feel guilty filling those caps to capacity with cheese.

7. Cauliflower Crust Pizza

This one definitely looks the most like a real pizza crust, so crunch fans should try this one before moving onto more daring no dough adventures.

8. Plantain Crust Pizza

Speaking of daring no dough adventures…plantain pizza?! It just might be crazy enough to work. It definitely looks like it works. Plus the crust bends, so you can eat it as a pizza wrap, or use it for your own plantain crust concoctions. Never be afraid to dream.

9. Sweet Potato Crust Pizza

Another walk on the sweeter side, this crust is made out of sweet potato, the potato that's sweeter than a regular potato. The recipe says it comes out firm and crispy, but still soft and chewy. Sounds like a pizza crust to me.

10. Broccoli Crust Pizza

Broccoli haters, beware. Actually, no, don't beware! It's time to overcome your fear of this treelike vegetable, and what better way than with pizza? This recipe will show you the way of the broccoli. Let the broccoli in. There you go. Now let it out with farts.
