To celebrate President’s Day weekend (February 13 -15, 2010) LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago is throwing down with some fun events and some killer free admissions for some kids.

First of all there’s going to be an honorary LEGO mosaic building of Mount Rushmore. Guests throughout the weekend can also participate in an interactive mural build that depicts the famous Mount Rushmore presidential monument. Children can enter to win free tickets to LEGOLAND Discovery Center simply by testing their U.S. history knowledge with trivia questions about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.

Some kids will get in free!: In honor of President’s Day, any child (ages 3-12) with a first or last name the same as one of the American Presidents will receive free admission into LEGOLAND Discovery Center between Saturday, February 13 – Monday, February 15. If your name is the same as one of the American Presidents, you’ll need to bring a student ID or a school paper or something that proves it.

For other family members (folks not named after a president or adults) you can still get into for less by downloading a coupon that allows your family to visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Center for only $12.00 per person. If you’re a Chicago local, or will be in the area over the weekend, these are some fun deals.
