Well Being

Jessica Alba on Being a Mom and Life

By  |

Jessica Alba was recently interviewed by Terra USA movie correspondent Maria Salas and during it she speaks about Valentine's Day, being a mom and of course her career. Now we all know that being a mom is a 24/7 type of job no matter what type of mom you are, this includes: stay-at-home-mom, work-at-home-mom, working mom (out of the home). No matter what, we all do it for one reason and that reason is sitting there at the end of the day with a smile that could melt your heart.

On Valentine's Day:

It can bring out the best and the worst in people…for sure. I think making an effort whether it is through chocolates and flowers or writing a nice card or taking you on a date or ….or…anything. Any gesture is nice.

On Working Mom:

On Mom: I think it is something that women in this country can relate to. It's tough, it's a tough balance…trying to be the best mom and obviously family, family is my priority. I love what I do and I love that I get to have a job that I enjoy so much and gives me the freedom to spend a lot of time with my daughter frankly. And travel and see something else. But it is hard not to spend every second with her.

I can't help but think many of us feel like this, or some of you may wish you could have that special job that would mean you could stay home more with your child. Either way, we are always trying to make sure we have that perfect balanace of work and raising our children, of course it doesn't always happen and that's when the mom guilt hits. Am I right? What are your thoughts on this?

How many of you will be watching the movie, “Valentine's Day” which Jessica Alba will be playing in soon?
