10 Things We Want to Do This Weekend

It's the weekend — and damn, we're glad. Here are 10 things we're doing over the next 48 hours. And you?

Not wear pink.

As much as we support breast cancer awareness, we're pretty tired of the color pink. So we're going to support the cause without being quite so girly.

Put the finishing touches on our Halloween plans.

We've got preliminary costume ideas — now we've just got to make them a reality.

Make something sweet.

Our sweet tooth has been out of control this week, so we might as well indulge it. A little.

Watch TV.

Laughing at the misfortunes of beloved TV characters never gets old.

Get to know our vaginas.

We should probably get to know them better. We're kind of stuck with them.

Get our Halloween candy.

We'd hate to get shown up by the neighbors and their king-sized candy bars. Again.

Plan a getaway.

A weekend in a cabin with our friends is looking pretty good right now.

Try to limit our snacks to once a day.

It's what our dietitian recommends, but it's going to be hard considering those cookies we're baking.

Seriously cut out the high-fructose corn syrup.

It's lurking in so many everyday products — we're going to have to check every label in our pantry, but it will be gone.

Re-evaulate our “health” foods.

Just because something is labeled “natural” or “organic” doesn't mean it's good for you.
