LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian sure do like reminding everyone of how they got together — by having an affair while they were both married to other people. Maybe if they had shut up about it early on, we would have forgotten it even happened and become capable of looking at photos of them without wanting to throw up, but I guess that's not what they want. At this point it's gone past simply not being ashamed of the situation and into seeming like they're just proud of it. So proud, in fact, that they even tell Eddie's children about it.

In a new interview with Life & Style, Eddie reveals that they talk to his sons Mason, 11, and Jake, 7, about how they got together: “We’ve had discussions with them about the whole situation.” Then LeAnn adds, “They understand more than you think they do.” Of course they had to double up on their shameless storytelling by not only explaining it to the kids, but then also explaining to the press how they explained it to the kids. Obviously. How else are they supposed to get attention?

But back to the whole “telling the kids” thing. Wow, that is not appropriate at all. In fact, I just opened a dictionary to the word “inappropriate” and saw a photo of Eddie and LeAnn telling Mason and Jake a bedtime story about what cheaters they are. I also have to wonder what Eddie's ex Brandi Glanville thinks about all this. Something tells me she wouldn't be okay with her sons hearing that kind of stuff, especially since she and LeAnn have butted heads in the past over the kids.

LeAnn and Eddie also open up in the interview about how they went to counseling when they first got together “to figure out how to put the kids first, to make sure they’re stable.” And it would seem that making sure they're stable involves telling a 7- and 11-year-old about the time their dad cheated on their mom, and then in turn bragging to a magazine about it. Always so charming, those two.
