Eva Longoria Is Dating A Ready For Love Contestant, So Someone Found Love On That Show

Eva Longoria Devious Maids premiere June 2013

Well, it looks like people really can find love on reality dating shows, as long as you're a producer on the show and you start dating a contestant. At least, according to Eva Longoria, who is now officially dating Ernesto Arguello, a contestant on Ready For Love, which she produced. You remember Ready For Love. It was that unintentionally hilarious dating show that you probably didn't watch but that you most definitely saw way too many commercials for. So I guess that show really did find love for people, but I don't think that's how it was supposed to work.

Eva spilled the news to People, and she claims that they started out as friends but developed a romance as rumors spread that they were already dating. Eva says, I kid you not, “I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see!” Welp, I guess they also have the press to thank for running the official announcement so soon after Eva's ex-husband Tony Parker announced his engagement. Nothing like a little revenge press, amirite, ladies? It's so much more stylish than revenge cleavage these days.

If you liked Eva's comment, you should see the one from the anonymous source every celebrity article is required to use (check the manual).

“Eva and Ernesto are a perfect match,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. “They both speak Spanish, have the same religion and the same cultural background.”

Wow, I can't think of a single other person who could possibly share those qualities with either of them, so this really is a miracle.

I should mention that Ernesto actually did end up with someone other than Eva as a result of that show. He chose former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey, but they broke up, causing love to die for split second before everyone in the world realized those reality show relationships never work out and love was resuscitated in time for Ernesto and Eva to get together. Ah, isn't love found behind the scenes of a reality show and announced at the perfect time on a popular website just grand?
