Casey Wilson Got Married This Weekend And Made An Ah-mazing Kimye Joke

Casey Wilson David Caspe wedding May 2014

Congratulations to Casey Wilson and David Caspe, who got married this weekend in Ojai, California. We should all be very happy for them, because they brought us one of the funniest and most tragically short-lived comedies of all time, Happy Endings, Casey as a star and David as the creator. They're also bringing us this Fall's Marry Me, so just give them all the congrats.

They happened to share their wedding weekend with a little couple named Kimye, a coincidence that did not go ignored at the event. Casey shared an Instagram photo yesterday of what the very British Daily Mail is calling a “beermat.” Americans might know it better as a coaster, as in “PUT A DAMN COASTER DOWN OR YOU'LL RUIN THE TABLE!” And what did that coaster have printed on it? Just photos of both Kimye and “Cavid.” Because Casey and David are hilarious and, as Penny Hartz would say, ah-mazing.

So while Kimye's wedding involved Kanye calling the Kardashians “an industry” and Rob Kardashian crying in an airport, Cavid's wedding involved hilarity. And a gorgeous Monique Lhullier gown with a piece of her mom's wedding dress sewn into it as her “something borrowed.” Seriously, could Casey look more beautiful? Beauty and a great sense of humor? Is it too late for me to marry her?

Oh, and just to give you some Happy Endings feels, check out this photo Damon Wayans Jr. shared of him, Adam Pally and Zach Knighton at the wedding. A moment of silence for a very special TV show, please. You can't tell, but I'm wiping away a single beautiful tear right now.

And of course Eliza Coupe was also there, meaning Brad and Jane had a very important reunion. Here's the photo she shared on Twitter:

Unfortunately there was one very important guest who was not able to attend. As Casey told Us Weekly, “Oprah, sadly, was a no show. (Probably because we've never met. Maybe next time?).”
