Sometimes, Saturday Night Live is just about making us laugh, but other times, it can open doors to beautiful friendships. After hosting the episode where Taylor Swift was the musical guest last month, it seems Tiffany Haddish has found a new BFF… and now, they’re so close that they’re hanging out at each other’s houses!

While visiting The Ellen Show, the Girls’ Trip actress dished on attending Taylor’s potluck dinner party recently, and she had nothing but great things to say about the Reputation singer — even when it comes to her cooking skills.

In the interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Tiffany revealed that they hit it off on set at SNL, and that’s what prompted Taylor to extend the invite. Of course, Tiffany had a few requests for the party — she wanted barbecue chicken, potato salad, and a brisket, duh — and the actress herself brought her famous homemade collard greens, which she says are more like “joyful greens” because she’s so happy when she picks them in her garden.

“[Taylor] was like, ‘Oh my gosh, Tiffany, I have been wanting greens for so long. I go all these different places to get greens and they’re never good. These greens are so delicious,'” Tiffany relayed to Ellen. “And I was like, ‘girl, ’cause them is joyful greens!'”

Makes sense. Cooked with love, and all that.

For the record, Tiffany also added that Taylor’s a pretty good chef herself, but that’s no surprise. After all, she is known for her baking — and even rapped about it once, if you remember this little number correctly. So it’s no surprise that she knows her way around a kitchen and can pull off a killer cornbread, too.

The only letdown about this dinner party is the fact that it wasn’t caught on camera for all of us to enjoy. Between how hysterical Tiffany is and Taylor Swift being… well, Taylor Swift, there’s no doubt in our minds that it was a really entertaining evening, especially if Tay’s other celeb friends were on the guest list as well. Were Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively there? If so, what did they bring to the potluck? Did they also adore Tiffany’s joyful greens? We need to know.

We would have never have seen this pairing coming, but we love that Taylor and Tiffany get along so well. Maybe they should co-host SNL next time? We’d even settle for just an Instagram story or something, TBH.
