Now that Price Harry and Meghan Markle are set to tie the knot in May, it only makes sense that she spent Christmas with the royal family. And according to the Prince himself, she fit in just fine. Then again, was there ever any doubt?

In an interview with Radio 4 on Wednesday, Harry talked about their first Christmas as an engaged couple. He and Meghan stayed with Prince William and Kate Middleton, who “loved having her there,” BTW, and it sounds like everyone had a blast, including youngsters Princess Charlotte and Prince George.

“I think together we had an amazing time,” Harry said in the interview. “We had great fun staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running round with the kids. Christmas was fantastic.”

Of course, it was fantastic — they got to play with the two most adorable kiddos ever! If only the royal family had personal Instagram accounts because we’re dying to see Meghan bonding with Charlotte and George as their aunt-to-be. And next year, Kate’s third baby will be here, so the family will get to celebrate his or her first Christmas and Meghan and Harry’s first Christmas as a married couple. There’s so much for them to look forward to in 2018… and, you know, for the rest of us who are dying for baby and wedding photos in the coming months.

Harry also called his family “the family she’s never had,” and mentioned that his fiancée is fitting in quite well. Although Meghan is still really close with both of her parents, especially her mom — who has attended plenty of events with her and Harry, like this year’s Invictus Games — they divorced when she was at a very young age. Now, with Harry’s big (and always growing) clan, she gets to experience a different kind of family life.

During their holiday with the family, Meghan attended church with Harry, Will, and Kate at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene on Christmas morning, where she had the opportunity to greet the Queen with an elegant curtsey. Can we all just agree that Meghan is living a serious fairytale? We’re going to need more details on what else happened that day.

With just over five months to go until Meghan and Harry’s wedding day, more photos and stories about their life together leading up to the big event are sure to come. We can’t wait to find out more about their romance… and, of course, stay up all night watching the wedding broadcast. Is there anything better than a royal wedding?
