Meghan Markle‘s half-sister fired back at Prince Harry‘s comments about his fiancée's family. During a recent interview, he opened up about Meghan's first royal Christmas, saying she had a a great time with Kate Middleton and his brother Prince William. “She's done an absolutely amazing job. She's getting in there and it's the family I suppose that she's never had,” he said.

Well, Samantha Markle, who is related to Meghan through their father Thomas, did not seem to agree with his comments since she immediately voiced her opinion on Twitter.

She also went on to defend their dad and how he made sure his kids had everything growing up.

This isn't the first time Samantha has spoken publicly about her half-sister. Following the news of Prince Harry and Meghan's engagement, Samantha spoke to Good Morning Britain, where she said the couple's relationship is “not about royalty so much as it is about love.”

The rest of Meghan's family have kept pretty quiet about the royal engagement, however, her parents did release a joint statement congratulating their daughter.

“We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person. To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents,” Meghan's parents, Thomas and Doria, said in the statement. “We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together.”

Although Harry's comments could be perceived as a little shady, we're sure he didn't mean any harm. He's probably just super excited to welcome his fiancée into the royal family. Also, considering it was the first time someone who was not yet actually married into the royal family was invited to participate in Christmas celebrations, it's a pretty big deal! Meghan basically made history.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry nor Meghan have responded to Samantha's tweets. However, a Kensington Palace official told BBC that Prince’s Harry‘s “comments speak for themselves.”

The happy couple is scheduled to marry on May 19, 2018 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. While it still remains unknown if Meghan's family will attend the royal wedding, one thing is for sure: the whole world will be watching the broadcast event!
