If you were wondering what was said during John Cena and Nikki Bella’s recent split, you'll be able to catch the whole thing on TV. It turns out, the couple filmed their entire break up for the E! reality show Total Bellas on which Nikki's the star. Her twin sister, Brie Bella, is actually the one revealed the news. She opened up for the first time since her sister called off her engagement last week, telling People that fans will be able to see the difficult conversations that led to the end of Nikki and John's relationship.

“I have to give a lot of credit to John and Nicole,” Brie said. “They really opened up their lives. They wanted to close the curtain and be like, ‘This is it, we’re done.’ My sister is great with her fans in a way where she lets them connect with her… and lets them see the playbook of her life.”

TBH, we're pretty shocked about this recent revelation. We understand that Nikki has a show to produce, but it's not every day that reality stars are willing to film such intimiate moments. In fact, Brie admitted she doesn't think she'd be able to be that open about her own private life.

“John and Nicole allow the fans to see some very personal conversations, that to be honest, I was mind blown about. [My husband Daniel Bryan] and I both said, ‘I don’t think we’d allow them to see those conversations’ but they do,” Brie continued. “I give them a lot of credit. You get to see where they’re at today and see that unravel.”

We obviously need to question how “real” John and Nikki's TV breakup will be, but it seems like any questions fans might have about the split may be ultimately answered on next season. Talk about a great way to guarantee viewership!

For now, though, we're still left wondering what really went wrong with the WWE couple. Multiple reports suggest it all had to do with the fact that John and Nikki didn't want the same things. According to reports, Nikki also didn't want a pity wedding nor a pity husband, and that's how John made her feel.

“He was making it abundantly clear that he was going into this gritting his teeth the whole way,” a source told People. “Nikki is an amazing, talented, strong, one-of-a-kind woman. Anyone would be lucky to have her in their life — yet John acted more and more like he was doing her a favor by somehow conceding to go ahead and marry her.”

Anyone who watches Total Bellas knows that John has said – more than once – he didn't want to get married again. When he proposed to Nikki at Wrestlemania last year, everyone just assumed he'd changed his mind. However, sources say John got cold feet as the wedding date approached.

We're not sure if we're prepared to watch John and Nikki break up, but we're still keeping our fingers crossed that they'll be able to work things out. Total Bellas return Sunday, May 20 at 9PM EST.
