Just when we were finally coping without Jim and Pam in our lives on a weekly basis, The Office star Jenna Fischer decided to release a book that recounts the first moment she met John Krasinski. Cue the heartache! Ugh, how many of you wished that Jim and Pam were a real-life couple?

To make matters harder, Jenna revealed that she and her on-screen love hit it off right away. So much so, that she knew he was the only Jim to her Pam. In her new book, The Actor’s Life: A Survival Guide, the actress recounts the moment they met as if it were the greatest love story of all time.

“He wasn’t just the best Jim — he was Jim,” she writes. “I remember the day we met. As I was being shown to the actor’s holding room, he was just being called in to read with another potential Pam… As he passed by, he introduced himself, and we shook hands. It was if lightning struck through the center of the room.”

LIGHTENING!? She said it felt like lightning. Honestly, if we didn't love John and his wife Emily Blunt so much, we'd totally petition for John and Jenna to get together IRL! The adorableness doesn't even end there. According to Jenna, John is exactly like his character.

“John and I were walking out of an audition scene, and he suddenly turned to me and whispered, ‘You’re my favorite Pam. I hope you get this job,'” she writes. “It was exactly as sweet and cute and supportive as anything Jim would say to Pam. I smiled really big and said, ‘I’m so glad you said that because you’re my favorite Jim and I don’t think anyone could do it except for you.'”

Sooooo….This rabid theater fan came to #DryPowder last night.

Obviously, they both got the roles they were *literally* MADE FOR and the rest is history! Elsewhere in her book, Jenna also writes about Jim and Pam's first kiss and how the cast and crew wanted it to be perfect.

“When he walked away, I felt completely transported into a new reality. I was Pam, I was talking with my mother, and my heart was breaking,” she writes. “I spoke into the phone, telling her I was in love with Jim, but I couldn’t confess my feelings to him. Suddenly, Jim walked in the door. I turned and saw him and my heart felt like it might burst out of my chest. I wanted so much to tell him how I felt, but before I could, he kissed me. It was perfect.”

Our hearts are literally coming out of our chest, too! Thank you, Jenna Fischer, for letting us all feel the sudden urge to restart The Office.
