This reunion is quite literally the reason why people often say “reunited and feels so good.” However, we don't think any reunion has ever given us the warm fuzzies the way this one does. On Monday, Tom Felton made our Harry Potter-loving dreams come true when he posted a selfie with his former co-stars, Emma Watson and Matthew Lewis. Yep! Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, and Neville Longbottom all reunited – and not only is it the cutest photo EVER, but it's making us emotional AF.
It's been seven years since they starred alongside each other in the last Harry Potter movie, which is why this mini-reunion is giving us all the feels. As sad as were are that we weren't invited to this epic get-together, we're completely content with the photo Tom provided us with. But also, we need to know more about what they were doing!
“School mates #hogwartsalumni,” he captioned the black-and-white pic.
Just like us, fans are over the moon for this pic. “WOW, MY HARRY POTTER FEELS,” one person tweeted, while another commented, “I THINK I JUST PASSED OUT FOM SCREAMING SO HARD HOLY CRAP.” But the best comment of all came from none other than Jason Isaacs, who played Draco's father Lucius Malfoy. “It's like the front cover of Orthodontist Monthly,” he wrote. Matthew, who is totally hot now, by the way, also commented on the photo writing, “Drunk.”
We don't know why the three hung out, but perhaps they got together for Emma's birthday. The actress turned 28 years old over the weekend, which is a good enough reason to see her famous co-stars again! Though we're sad that Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint were nowhere to be seen, Emma, Tom, and Matthew's hangout sesh sure made our Monday feel magical.
The reunion also gave “Dramione” shippers a lot to talk about. Even though their characters never really liked each other in the movies (you might remember Hermione punching Draco in the face in the third Harry Potter film), there were some fans who wanted to see them end up together. That's also why everyone freaked when Emma admitted that she had the hots for Tom IRL!
“For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush,” she told Seventeen magazine in 2011. “He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool.”
All these years later, Emma and Tom are still friends! It's too bad they never got together for real. We would have absolutely shipped them as a real-life couple. Now, excuse us while we swoon over Tom's Instagram photo for the rest of the day…
