Jimmy Fallon, Miley Cyrus And The Roots Sing ‘We Can’t Stop’ Acapella, And It’s Actually Awesome

Last night Miley Cyrus went on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to talk about Bangerz. I would say to promote Bangerz, but I think it's safe to say that it's been promoted. Most memorably on a wrecking ball, but also other places like the 2013 VMAs and SNL.

While hanging out with Jimmy, she got up to some classic Late Night shenanigans. Such as starring on the hit show, Jacob's Patience — the highly renowned Canadian soap opera where everyone has fake arms. As silly as this sketch is, it really does get me every single time. Even this time when I started out stone-faced. I won't ruin it for you, but I will say that manicures are involved.

She also sang “We Can't Stop” acapella with The Roots and Jimmy Fallon. And it was actually really awesome.  As someone who's usually more a fan of Miley's escapades than her music, it means a lot when I say that I enjoyed her song.  I think —  and bear in mind that my thoughts on music mean little to nothing due to a genetic case of tone deafness — that when Miley's not distracted by herself, she's actually not so bad. Maybe, and I know this is a big maybe, she should try showcasing her music more and her PR stunts less. Yeah, I'm looking at you molly reference in a pop song.
