North West Took Her First Steps, Should Be Able To Run Away In No Time

Extra extra, read all about it! North West is capable of walking now. And you know what walking leads to. That's right, more walking. And you know what more walking leads to. RUNNING! I can finally start shouting “Run, North, run!” whenever I see a photo of her, and it'll actually make a little bit of sense now. Because you know as soon as her legs will allow it, North's grabbing Penelope Disick and hightailing it out of that family.

While there isn't footage or photographic evidence of North's first steps, I'm sure we'll get to see it next season on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. And if there didn't happen to be cameras present to capture the moment, I'm sure Kris Jenner will insist on a reshoot, don't you worry. Until then we'll just have to take Kim Kardashian's word for it. Yesterday she posted an Instagram photo of herself kissing little North while she was wrapped up in a towel. Here's how she captioned it:

“Our baby girl finished one week of swimming lessons today then took her 1st steps right when she got out of the pool!!!! Mommy & Daddy are so proud of you!!!! Photo cred: Daddy”

Oh good, she's also learning how to swim. That might come in handy when she's on the run. You can never be too prepared for trying to escape the klutches of the Kardashians. What Kim doesn't mention in her post is that in all likelihood North's first steps were turned in the direction of the nearest exit. But sadly it would seem her escape plan was foiled, and she was promptly imprisoned in a towel. Don't worry, North. There's always next time.

Since North just celebrated her first birthday, you'd think there'd be some sort of Kardashian tradition associated with it that would allow her a bit of freedom. Like Amish kids and their Rumspringa. She gets to experience the real world for a few days before deciding whether to be baptized into the Khurch of Kardashian. Sorry, I watched an Amish-related Lifetime movie this weekend, and it's hard to shake that kind of thing.
