Kristin Cavallari Is Naming Her Baby After A Dog, So Let’s Guess What It Will Be

Baby names can be weird. Some are spelled the last way you would ever imagine. Others seem so random you suspect the child's parents just threw open a dictionary, closed their eyes, and pointed to a word. Even if the name is conventional, the reason behind it isn't always a deep or meaningful one. Sometimes you just hear a name and think it would be nice to name your kid. If you're Kristin Cavallari, sometimes that name belongs to a dog.

Kristin is currently pregnant with her third child with husband Jay Cutler. It's a girl, the couple's first after sons Camden and Jaxon. Kristin revealed to Cricket's Circle (via People) that they already have a name picked out. She didn't reveal what it is (the Lacheys might swipe it again), but she does reveal where the inspiration came from.

“We picked out this baby girl’s name when I was pregnant with our first. I met a woman and her dog, and I loved her dog’s name. Funny enough, it was the name she had picked out if she had a girl, but she had boys, so she used it for her dog instead. Here we are 3.5 years later, and we are going to use that name for our little girl!”

I know she says that it was originally meant for a baby and not a dog, but I just can't help but be amused by this. The fact that she doesn't say what it is makes it even better, because that means I can imagine whatever I want. So I went ahead and put together a list of doggy-style (sorry) names that would sound great with Cutler.

  • Cookie Cutler
  • Coco Cutler
  • Pom Pom Cutler
  • Fifi Cutler
  • Lady Cutler
  • Princess Cutler
  • Fluffy Cutler
  • Lassie Cutler
  • Winn-Dixie Cutler
  • Perdita Cutler
  • Elizabeth Taylor Cutler
  • Who's A Good Girl Cutler
  • Go Fetch Cutler

Obviously my favorite is Cookie Cutler. If that doesn't turn out to be the real choice, I will be gravely disappointed. North West, eat your heart out.
