“Horsemaning” Is The New Planking, Was The Original Planking

New stupid photo meme alert! The practice of “horsemaning” is spreading like wildfire, and it goes a little something like this.

Pose so that your head is hidden. Find a friend whose head might conceivably match your body (or not!). Have them pose in a freaky way, preferably so it looks like you're carrying your own head. (You know, like the Headless Horseman.) Look at you, horsemaning like a pro already.

According to Buzzfeed, this first became a “thing” back in the 1920s, when it was a popular way of posing for photogravures or whatever they had back then:

I'm way more on board with this than I was with planking because it actually looks cool. Also, it's firmly grounded in history, and I love history. No celebrities have jumped on the bandwagon yet, but I'm thinking it will prove irresistible to the ever-dramatic Katy Perry, as well as that prank-loving scoundrel Justin Bieber.
