You Won’t Be Able To Stop Laughing At People In Costumes Falling Over At Disneyland

People falling at Disneyland video

I like to think I'm a good person. Compassionate, even. And when I see someone fall down and possibly hurt / definitely embarrass themselves, I'd like to think I'd worry for their safety and most certainly not laugh at all. But then I watched this video called “People Falling At Disneyland,” and that whole “good person” thing went out the window. I laughed. A lot. At least I felt bad for laughing, but that didn't stop me. And now I want you to feel bad for laughing too.

This video is exactly what it sounds like from the title. It's people falling at Disneyland. But not just any people. Not tourists or waiters or the employees who strap you into the rides. This is a video of the people who work as characters in the park — the ones who wear those big bulky costumes that don't show their faces. I already don't envy them considering how boiling hot and uncomfortable it probably is under there. So I should definitely feel bad for them when they've fallen and can't get up. And I mean they literally can't get up. It's like when a bug lands on its back and can't tip itself to the right position.

Most of the time someone has to come and help them up. Sometimes their heads fall off and their true identities are briefly revealed. In one case, Mrs. Incredible's hair goes all askew and they take her to the side to try to fix it. And yet I laughed. I laughed so much. I laughed especially hard whenever there was a whole group of costumed people and I didn't know which one of them was going to be the one to fall. The anticipation was killing me, which of course led to uncontrollable giggles. I genuinely hope those people are okay and uninjured. But holy cannoli was that entertaining.
