Crush This: The Cutest Celeb Couple In ‘Going The Distance,’ ‘Jerseylicious’ Returns
Welcome to Crush This, your weekly guide to what’s new in movies, music and TV. We’ve navigated the inner reaches of our entertainment-obsessed brains in search of all the pop culture landscape has to offer. It might be the last few days of August, but there's still some good entertainment to be had. If you're not already leaving town for Labor Day weekend, check out these new movies, music and, of course, Jersey, Jersey, Jersey.
Movies: George Clooney‘s looking as good as ever in his newest film The American, out Wednesday, in which he plays an assassin on his last job. Hawt. And on Friday, you can watch couple we love Drew Barrymore and Justin “I'm A Mac” Long be all couple-y in Going The Distance. Why can't those two crazy kids get it together already?
TV: Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s second season may have ended last week, but Monday, tune in for the reunion show. If the commercials are indication, Danielle Staub is going to be all, “Don't call me garbage!” and Caroline Manzo is going to be all, “You mess with my family you mess with me!” So, it will essentially be like every episode of the past season, boiled down into one couch-flipping episode of craziness.
And just in case you haven't gotten your fill of Jersey, tune in to the premiere of the second season of Jerseylicious, Sunday night on the Style Network.
Music: When we bought Now That's What I Call Music 2 10 years ago, we never thought they'd be able to put out 35 editions of what is essentially a mixtape made by a teenage girl who listens to Z100. Boy were we wrong! Now That's What I Call Music 35 goes on sale on Tuesday, just in case you don't already have “California Gurls,” “Cooler Than Me” and “Alejandro” on your iPod. Also new this week, the first solo album from Radiohead drummer Phil Selway, Familial.
