You turn around for one second these days and Chris Pratt just gets cuter. Yesterday he shared a video on Facebook of him teaching his two-year-old son Jack how to say the Pledge of Allegiance. If the video itself doesn’t make you cry tears of joy over how gosh darn adorable these two are, realizing that Jack Pratt sounds like Jack Sprat should do the trick. You’re curled up in a ball on the floor right now, aren’t you? Same.

Chris says in the video’s caption that he wanted to share it on Memorial Day, “but I was in China and my phone wasn’t working.” He adds, “I’m proud to be an American. I’m blessed to get to travel the world!” The video shows Chris and little Jack standing on their front porch in front of an American flag, and as Chris recites the words of the pledge, Jack repeats them in his tiny child voice. And then at the end Chris shakes his son’s hand and tells him “Good job!” It will very likely kill you. I’m just warning you now, in case you weren’t ready to die just yet from watching a cute celebrity father interact with his son. I get it, maybe it’s not the way you want to go.

Heck, I don’t even support the Pledge of Allegiance and sat it out for most of high school, but that doesn’t stop me from loving every second of this video. I hardly even flinched when they said the “under God” part. Oh no, this could be dangerous. Let’s hope Chris’ next video doesn’t feature him and Jack encouraging people to join a cult. I might be powerless to the cuteness and obey them blindly. Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen. I’m counting on you not to use this adorableness for evil, Chris Pratt.
