Chris Hemsworth And His Wife Are Having Twins, Because They Want The World To Be A Better Place

Chris Hemsworth Elsa Pataky Golden Globes January 2014

In the unofficial Hemsworth vs. Hemsworth battle that I staged in my head last year, Chris Hemsworth emerged victorious. Is there really any argument about it anymore? Once Liam officially ended his on-off-on-again-pretending-to-be-on-but-really-off-okay-we-officially-never-want-to-see-each-other-again relationship with Miley Cyrus, there was no more hope for him. But most of the reason Chris came out on top is because of his adorable family. He has a wife named Elsa Pataky and a one-year-old daughter named India Rose. And now it looks like they're adding a couple of new cute-pies to the brood.

We already knew Elsa was pregnant, and she showed off her baby bump on the red carpet at the Golden Globes this weekend, but we didn't know exactly how many buns she had in her oven. Usually it's only the one, but it seems like there's something in the celebrity water these days that makes twins very likely, so it was always a possibility. Now, according to HOLA! magazine, it's a reality. Elsa will reportedly give birth to twins this spring shortly before India's second birthday in May.

Clearly Chris and Elsa did this to make the world a happier place. First of all, these two seem like a great couple, according to my flawless celebrity couple radar. Chris walks around with Elsa's cell phone number around his neck in case of emergencies, for crying out loud. Plus, anyone who's seen Chris carry his tiny daughter in his big Thor arms or watched him imitate how she moves will understand what lovely news this is. I generally appreciate it when two beautiful people make a genetically gifted child together, and double the babies means double the beauty.

How do you guys think we should thank them for this? Perhaps a muffin basket? An Edible Arrangement? One of those cards that plays music and is signed by everyone in the world? I'm open to ideas here, so fire away. And most importantly, congratulations to Elsa and Chris and little India.
