Anna Faris and Chris Pratt’s Son Just Met the Penguin He Named, and It Was Adorable

Attention, everyone! We have an update on Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's three-year-old son Jack Pratt. Yes, that's right, his name is this close to Jack Sprat. Are you crying yet? I know I am.

Speaking of cute things that will make you cry, last year the family was asked by the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, Washington, to choose a name for a baby penguin, since both Anna and Chris grew up in the Seattle area. Jack chose to name the penguin Eagle, the kind of noble and majestic name you'd expect a boy as apparently smart and polite as Jack to choose.

Then yesterday something awesome happened. Jack got to meet Eagle the penguin in person. Anna posted some pictures of the meeting on Twitter, and they're just as adorable as you'd expect pictures of a three-year-old boy meeting the penguin he named would be. And in case you're wondering, that's very adorable.

As you can see, Eagle and Jack seem to be getting along great in the first photo. Once Jack got a whiff of Eagle's penguiny stench, however, he wasn't so happy. Bless Anna (or whoever took the photo) for capturing this face. Go easy on the fish, Eagle. At least try to live up to your namesake.

If you want to see the Pratt-Faris family announcing their choice of name last year, go ahead and watch the video below. But be warned, you might burst into tears when you see Jack proudly declare “Eagle!” upon his mother's prodding.
