Should Nick and Jessica get back together?

When Nick and Jessica split back in 2005, everyone was shocked . At the time, Jessica's star was rising and the couple was trying to balance married life with their careers. Having MTV cameras document their life on the popular show, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica probably added stress to their relationship and the couple decided to part ways.

Both Nick and Jessica got back into the dating game soon after the spilt. Nick started seeing TRL host Vanessa Minnillo for nearly three years, but broke up this summer. Jessica went on to date John Mayer for a while and then got super serious with Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo. It seemed like these two would settle down, but Tony broke up with Jessica right before her 29th birthday, leaving her baffled and heartbroken.

For the first time since their divorce, Jess and Nick are both single at the same time. Magazines and gossip sites are already thinking that a reconciliation is going to happen. At this point in their lives, both Nick and Jess want to start a family and are on the same page. Did they make a mistake splitting up? "I think it's fun storytelling, but there's very little truth to any of it," the singer told People. "I certainly have heard about her breakup and I wish her the best, as I've always done. Aside from that, there really is nothing to say."
