What kind of guys are you into? Contrary to popular belief, a new survey conducted in the UK found that funny guys get the girl! Psychologist Kristofor McCarty of Northumbria University performed a study with 45 women and concluded that ladies prefer the jokesters. The women were shown dating ads and they were asked to rate them and the guys with a more humorous approach in their ads were rated smarter, more honest and BF material.

"There was a kind of halo effect. The funny guys appear to be getting everything... For a man that doesn't look like Brad Pitt, it gives them a bit of hope," Mr. McCarty said.
