What Do You Think of Going Stag?

Is it a big deal if you show up at your homecoming dance without a date? Some high school students say that going to the dance solo doesn't carry the same stigma that it used to.

"We just realize that it's not such a big deal anymore when we go to dances," 15-year-old Kendall Ryndak tells The Chicago Tribune. "I just feel like it's better to go with girls because it's like, you're friends. There's no stress."

In fact, students at another high school voted for a jungle theme for their upcoming dance instead of the usual couple-centralized ideas of the past. To accommodate the solo-trend, single tickets are now being sold, as well as couple tickets.
