Video: Those Adorable ‘Super Bass’ Girls Get Their Own Segment On Ellen

By  |

Ever since they won Ellen Degeneres‘ heart with their adorable rendition of Nicki Minaj‘s “Super Bass,” I've figured it was only a matter of time before Elllen gave pint-sized Brits Sophia Grace and Rosie their own segment, or maybe an entire TV show. And guess what? It feels good to be right. (To be fair, it was kind of a no-brainer.)

In their new segment “Tea Time”‘s first installment today, the girls talked to Taylor Swift about glitter glue, their favorite candy, and even what it's like to be single. It was especially awesome when they asked Taylor if she had a boyfriend and she said no, and Rosie and Sophia responded that they also didn't, about a hundred times more emphatically. “I used to, but…I only had one boyfriend…So now I'm just a friend,” said Rosie. “Say he's a friend of yours who was a boy so it doesn't seem as weird,” replied Taylor, because it's creepy to think about a six-year-old dating. I also co-sign her sentiment that “glitter glue makes everything better.” And it was nice of her to share her cookie with the girls. Let's hope this “Tea Time” is just the first of many.
