10 TV Shows That Sucked After Their Stars Left

6. Lea Michele, Glee

Alright, I'll say it — the first season of this show was really great. And even halfway through the second had me hanging on, hoping it'd get better. But it's unbelievable to me that it's still on the air, especially since the main characters have all graduated. I think they realized they'd never have a viable show after Lea Michele left, so they keep it hobbling along with random, incongruous cameos.

7. Dan Stevens, Downton Abbey

I'm not even saying the show is ruined, because obviously I still obsess over it every Sunday like the rest of you — but I will never forgive Dan for derailing the plot like that because he just HAD to leave after season two to go see about a film career. Traitor.

8. Charlie Sheen, Two And A Half Men

In all fairness, this show probably shouldn't be on the list, because it sucked before Charlie was fired by CBS for being a total loose cannon in the media in 2011, bragging about his drug use and disparaging the show. But it also sucked after, so it stays!

9. Mischa Barton, The O.C.

Mischa started as Marissa Cooper on The O.C. in 2003 and her fame increased exponentially with every episode…until her character was killed off in a car crash at the end of season three so she could go try out movies, essentially dooming the show for its fourth and final season. But look at her now! One of the most A-List actresses in the whole…Coachella.

10. Zach Braff, Scrubs

I'm sure the producers of Scrubs are very nice people, but did they really expect to replace pretty much the entire cast after season eight, including Zach Braff, and still have a viable show? Nice try.
