The Tom Hiddleston Charm Tour (aka press tour for his movie I Saw the Light) rolled into Chicago last night and it did not disappoint. Tom took a break from making people swoon with his Hank Williams singing voice to give locals a reason to actually watch the news by doing a weather report. I mean, could you imagine just chilling waiting to see if you can get away wirh not bringing a jacket to work tomorrow, and bam!, there's Tom Hiddleston in a suit on your T.V. That's a lot to handle.

At the beginning of his weather report, the Fox 32 reporter brought out Tom, who he would only address as Loki (ya know Thor's brother), to talk about the severe weather hitting the area. Tom, sorry Loki, explained that “You know my brother from another mother's been misbehaving. The god of Thunder has brought his skill set to bear on the local weather.” The huge storm coming was due to Chris Hemsworth who “has taken his hammer and he's smashed it on the surface on the sky and it's gonna rain a hell of a lot. So, good luck with that,” Tom told viewers.

If only then they had cut to Chris Evans doing sports and maybe Mark Ruffalo with an investigative report, then we really would have been set. Have Scarlett Johansson take over for the lead anchor, maybe. I guess what I'm getting at is someone needs to re-do Anchorman with all the Avengers. I really think that's something we all need in our lives.
