How to Cook Turkey, according to TV

For as long as I can remember, I've been in love with food. While I don't want to say we're in a committed relationship, I also don't want to lie to you. There's nothing “casual” about what me and food do together. Which is why Thanksgiving is one of my most favorite holidays. A whole day devoted to eating food! Count me in! Also count in my stretch pants and maternity dress. There are 364 other days of the year when you can look presentable at the table. (Keyword: can)

The only thing that comes close to Thanksgiving in my heart is watching the very special Thanksgiving episodes of TV shows. It's about as close as we can ever come to feeling like we're part of our fave TV families. Which I think is the goal for any avid TV watcher who aspires to Pleasantville themselves right into the action. And just like celebrities, TV families are JUST LIKE US! Which is a nice way of saying inept of putting on a perfect Thanksgiving. But that's okay! It's those moments of absolute failure that remind us why we love them so much.

That's why we put together a supercut of people on TV shows getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner with their friends and family. So sit back, relax and prepare to get your heart warmed by all your favorite TV friends messing up the holiday.
