Camera Man Reveals Who The Worst Teen Mom 2 Star Is On Reddit, Then Deletes All His Dirt On The Show
Some people don't like how Reddit‘s AMA (Ask Me Anything) subreddit has become overrun with celebrities promoting their latest projects. Sure, those Q&A sessions are often illuminating and a really fun way to level with famous folks, but the subreddit was technically begun to highlight the seemingly mundane folks on the internet. But a nice compromise is when normal folks who are associated with celebrities log on to share their stories and dish dirt on stars. Such was the case yesterday, when a former camera man for MTV's Teen Mom set up an AMA. And boy, he didn't hold back!
Probably because of opticalsk‘s very candid answers, he deleted his account (and all of his responses) sometime in the last twenty-four hours. Or maybe MTV got to him! While the mods verified him, which means that he doesn't have to make his identity public, it may be that something in his answers tipped off someone at the network and they recognized him. Thankfully, the IMDb message board (and Google cache) collected opticalsk's more scandalous answers for our enjoyment! Since most of this speaks for itself, let's just delve into what he had to say after working on Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2.
The most standard question, is it scripted?
it's not scripted in the way a narrative would be but the storyline is heavily produced by the director.
It gets to the point where the director is feeding them lines.
You'll be surprised to hear that the worst mom isn't Jenelle Evans, but rather Leah Messer! (And we assume that “Kale” here is Kailyn Lowry, who did always come across as not very smart in her relationship choices but also not malicious.)
admirable qualities are rare with these girls. Kale is the most level headed and the only one who has potential in being a good mom.
the best person on the show is Cory, Leah's ex. Really sweet guy. He never should of agreed to be on the show. I would have to say that Leah is worst. Lot's of horror stories about her.
He was going to post a Leah story later that night, but then he deleted all his info. However, when asked if he ever wanted to call Child Protective Services, he did share this anecdote:
every shoot i would want to call CPS. filthy houses (dog poop on the floor, bloody tampons sitting in a corner for months, weeks old food everywhere, etc) one of the worst is Leah, filthiest person i've met.
when feeding her twins she would spill a bunch of cheese puffs on the nasty carpet and the girls would crawl around and suck up the cheese puffs, no hands involved.
this made me cry a few times.
the production company rule was to file your complaint with production manager. if the production manager felt that they were legally bound to submit the complaint to the authorities they would. of course they never did. it took a lot of alcohol to fall asleep. i couldn't take it half way through the 3rd season and quit.
Not surprisingly, Farrah Abraham was also a handful, treating the crew like crap:
She was nasty. If we were following her she would slam the door on our face.
Get ready to cry when you find out how much the girls make:
They are making 150k and up when including the ratings bonus. Less ratings = less money for them. So don't watch the show!
They make a lot. Especially when considering where they live and the cost of living. They spend unwisely. If they were smart they could be set for life.
No, he never hit on the girls, but another crew member did:
Ha. No, these girls are repulsive Their friends would hit on the crew a lot.
One crew member was caught in the hot tub at our hotel with one of the girls friends. He was promptly fired.
They were in the tub. She asked for his age. He was 38. She started screaming and shit hit the fan.
He is bald and always wears a cap. Looks young with the cap. In the tub he took it off. She was like WTF!
And for all of you wondering if fan favorite Barbara Evans is as unbearable in real life as she seems…
Barbra does indeed have the worst voice besides being a wino.
opticalsk did really want to be optimistic, but this comment about sums up how soul-sucking working on the show was:
the only positive thing was personal experience of the actual births. i've never witnessed a birth before working on the show. it's wonderful thing to see baby born. too bad all of these girls should of gotten abortions!
I really want to know what spooked opticalsk. For some reason, lots of people who run anonymous AMAs never realize how big of a deal their revelations are. But you would imagine that if he worked for the show for so long, he'd know that the fanbase is big enough that these kinds of insights would go viral. And yet, in his introduction he wrote “also, i'm not sure if anyone cares.” Couldn't be further from the truth, buddy.
