Taylor Swift Gave Ed Sheeran A Needlepoint With Drake Lyrics, Which Is The Universal Sign Of True Love

In a last-ditch effort to convince me that they're a couple, Ed Sheeran revealed that Taylor Swift arts-and-crafted him a needlepoint of Drake lyrics. But this isn't just some flimflam needlepoint that your grandma works on until supper is ready; this is real deal crafting we're talking, where there is no room for squares. Unless that's a part of your intended design, in which case, there's plenty of room for them. And what says, “tru luv,” better than stitching a couple of Drake lyrics for your “friend”? Well, I guess being the recipient of said stitchwork and proudly showing it off in all of its framed glory.

In the new documentary 9 Days And Nights of Ed Sheeran, which premieres tonight on MTV, Ed just about confirms what we've suspected all along: that he and Taylor are totes an item 4ever. He doesn't say that (mostly because no respectable human should say “totes” in real life). But oh, does he show us.

Here is a screencap of what I suspect will be the pivotal moment in the show: when Ed explains probably his favorite piece of art in his home and possibly the world. There are a few fast facts that you must know about this needlepoint: 1) Taylor quoted Drake, documented Sentimentalist, 2) Taylor also is able to needle-stitch replicas of people, so I give up on trying to be creative, and 3) this is so detailed that I'm not entirely convinced that there isn't a subliminal message somewhere on it written in a language that only Ed knows.

I don't know when their anniversary is, or if they're the type of couple that doesn't recognize those things, but this would make a fab gift for such an occasion. Or maybe this is one of those Just Because presents that rom-coms keep telling us people in relationships actually remember to exchange. Whatever the case, Ed needs to think of something very sweet very soon because, with this and the homemade jam of yore, he's falling behind in the “No, I love you more!” game.
