Suki Waterhouse Just Got Cast In A Blockbuster, So Hopefully She’ll Send Bradley Cooper A Nice Thank You Note

Everyone make sure to give Suki Waterhouse a golf clap and a gold star today, because that whole “dating” thing she's doing with Bradley Cooper is really paying off for her. She's been cast in the movie Insurgent, the sequel to Divergent, only the most highly anticipated Young Adult adaptation of this past Spring starring It Girl Shailene Woodley. Suki's playing Marlene, a member of the Dauntless faction.

Suki's had a few small roles as an actress, on the TV show Material Girl and in the movie Pusher, but she's known mostly for her modeling career. Actually, scratch that. She's known mostly for showing up to events on Bradley Cooper's arm. And also practicing different lounging positions in the park with him for the paparazzi to capture. Which likely explains how she got this role. I hope you write Mr. Cooper a thoughtful thank you note, Suki, because that's the polite response for when people do nice things for you like make you famous enough to be cast in a blockbuster movie.

In case you hadn't noticed, we're not convinced 'round these parts that Bradley and Suki are an actual couple. In fact, it's one of our favorite conspiracy theories, along with Danielle Jonas faking her pregnancy and Ryan Seacrest being a literal robot. They've lasted longer than other alleged fakelationships like Cuocovill or Haylor, but there's also the age difference and the gay rumors and the lack of chemistry to consider. Still, they've managed to convince plenty of other people that they're the real deal, so maybe all that acting practice means Suki will turn in a great performance in this fictional story as well. If there's a scene where she has to lie in some guy's lap pretending to read a book, she'll totally nail it.
