If you're a Star Wars fan, you're probably busy watching The Last Jedi preview for possible clues while speculating along with everyone else about fan theories. That will probably keep you busy until the film launches in December 2017, but we'd like to suggest you get ready for the new movie by watching all of the Star Wars films again. Yup, all of them.

You were probably planning to watch Episodes IV, V, VI, and The Force Awakens, but it's also worth rewatching Episodes I, II and III. We know they might not have been the most popular films or the most critically acclaimed, but you should. It has probably been awhile since you watch the Phantom Menace et al. In fact, the last time you watched them might have been the 1990s or 2000s. That's one very good reason to watch them again now, but it's not he only one. Have a look at 17 other reasons why you should actually watch the Star Wars prequels again.

1. Anakin Skywalker was the cutest in the Phantom Menace.

Remember what little Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd) was like in the Phantom Menace? Try to think back before all that not-so-great stuff happened in the films and to the actor IRL. In Episode I, Anakin was a sweet little boy with a shaggy head of cute sandy blonde hair. When he became a Padawan, he wore that little Jedi-in-training outfit and started growing that little braid. Awwww, memories.
