Robin Thicke Dedicates A Song To Paula Patton In Hopes She’ll Forget That Whole Divorce Thing

Another day, another chance for Robin Thicke to be the absolute worst. I don't know what planet he is from, but it certainly can't be Earth. Because on this planet, most of us know you can't win back your wife and mother of your child by dedicating a song to her. And not just any song, one of your very own songs. At least dedicate a song she likes independently from you. At least try to act like you know something about her, Thicke.

On Thursday, at his first concert since announcing his split from his wife, Paula Patton, he shared an “emotional” moment with his fans when he decided to dedicate his song “Lost Without U” to her.

“For those of you who don't know, my wife and I got separated a few days ago, and I want everybody here to know that I'm trying to get my girl back.”

Hey, I know you don't really know this, Robin Thicke, but no means no. If she wants a divorce, she should get a divorce. You can't just “I know you want it” your way out of this one.

“I'm going to need you guys to help me through this.”

Okay, sure. Here's my advice, if you really need to make some grand gesture to win her back maybe don't do it like this? Take her out to a nice dinner, or better yet, go to a private place and have a long discussion about what you both want. Talk about your feelings and fears and dreams. I understand that's scary, but you said you want to make it work.

Concert goers on Thursday told People:

“He even messed up on some of the words because he was crying.”

To be honest, I don't know if I buy it. I have a sneaking suspicion Paula Patton finally got around to listening to “Blurred Lines” and thought “Oh hey! Maybe I don't want to be married to a man who objectifies women and has a false sense of entitlement.” But that's just my theory.
