The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Everyone Hates Teresa Giudice, Even Her Husband

By  |

It’s part two of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, and I could not be more thrilled. When we last left Teresa Giudice and her gang of buffoons, Rosie Pierri was going nuts backstage. This was the effect of Teresa mentioning her uncle, Kathy Wakile’s deceased father, at the reunion. She was screaming and yelling about how she wants to basically murder Teresa. Lauren Manzo successfully calms Rosie down backstage, which we should all be thankful for because Rosie basically wanted to rip Teresa apart.

Note to self: Never ever mess with Rosie Pierri. She is a force to be reckoned with. Andy Cohen finally steps in and changes the subject to something a bit sweeter: Kathy and Rosie’s friendship and bond. Rosie then comes out and starts to talk about her coming out and how hard it was to finally admit who she was deep down. Rosie then starts to call out Teresa for not accepting sexuality, which Teresa denies. Does Teresa have anyone who cares about her anymore? Even Housewife sidekicks don’t want anything to do with her.

After things calm down between Rosie and Teresa, Melissa Gorga steps in and starts screaming about how family means nothing to Teresa. And we get another split screen! Melissa is screaming to the point where she sounds horse and yells at Teresa for playing the victim. She yells, “You don’t get to play victim! Guess who the real victim is? ME!”

She’s not completely wrong in saying this. She does have a point. Melissa truly seems like a down to earth, kind women who is trying to keep her family safe and sane while also trying to have a life of her own. Teresa just seems to be so full of jealousy and hate for her sister-in-law. It’s sad. Melissa used to be cordial and kind about the awkward tension between the two of them, but it seems that she is now throwing in the towel and just being plain pissed off. I can’t say I blame her. Melissa is going to side with her husband, and her husband,  Joe Gorga, is going to side with his wife. That’s that. Teresa accuses Melissa of not being able to sing without auto tune or a backup track. She then sings a little bit of her song (which kinds of sounded terrible, but I mean, I like Melissa so whatever). It’s just sad that Teresa cannot even manage to be the slightest bit happy for her sister-in-law. She then mocks Melissa and signs her own wonderful rendition of “On Display.” Caroline and Jacqueline cannot believe what is going on.

Kathy, her own flesh and blood, cannot stand the sight of her and also seems angry. Though she too hates Teresa, she apologizes for the harsh words about Teresa’s mother. Teresa decides to accept the apology and move to the other side of couch where she was at the beginning of this freak show.
