I have been through many bad hair ideas and even phases in my life. I always wanted to come up with a color and style that would emulate who I am. I always knew I was a little more on the edgy side and first tried the Mohawk. But the hours it took, the hairspray, the teasing, and the damage I would endure seemed not worth it.

Then I went to a faux-hawk which was a lot of fun and only took pulling the sides back into a ponytail and pinning the top into a little bump. I'd secure the whole thing with bobby pins, light teasing, and a finishing spray.

Finally, I made the decision to cut off all my locks. It was a daring decision, but like I always say, "dare to be different!" Through having the guts to try new things I feel like I have found the hairstyle I've always been looking for. I feel more like myself than ever. It's awesome what a good hairstyle can do for you. :-)
