This Memphis Strip Club Welcoming Prince Harry Will Be The Most American Thing You See Today

Bless your little hearts, because Princes William and Harry are currently stateside to attend a friend's wedding and I, for one, am pleased to see that the British royals are soaking up bits and pieces of American culture while they're here.  From visiting the Graceland home of *our* king, Elvis Presley, to eating barbecue (does anyone else find this utterly adorable?) at a Memphis bar and restaurant, to being welcomed by local strip club, The Pink Pony.  Yee-haw and ‘Murrica, y'all.  (Are cowboys in Memphis?  Am I generalizing the south too much?  Ugh, sorry.)

Whoopsies, I think my pink pony is getting ahead of herself here. Silly pony!  Newly Cressida Bonas-less Prince Harry did not actually attend The Pink Pony (which charmingly bills itself as “America's Strip Joint”), but that didn't stop the garishly, well, pink eyesore of a building from welcoming him with open arms (and vaginas–sorry, “ponies”–probably) via their enormous highway sign:

The Pony Club, which bills itself on its own sign as 'America's Strip Joint' lays down the Pink Carpet and displays 'Welcome Prince Harry' on the billboard on its marquee in Memphis

What, pray tell, is more American than “America's Strip Joint” publicly welcoming a member of the British royal family to partake in its decadence via highway sign? Frankly, it makes me want to crack open a red, white, and blue can of Budweiser and set off a bunch of illegally-obtained fireworks.
