Every Time You Watch One Direction Perform At The 2012 VMAs, A Girl Goes Through Puberty
The men of One Direction continue to redefine modern music with every single performance they do. Tonight's rendition of “One Thing” at the 2012 VMAs was no exception.
I started watching them perform while sitting on the couch and ended it kneeling on the floor. You know, just thanking God that he spoke to Simon Cowell and turned these boys into a band. A band that will live in infamy.
Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik not only blew us away with their performance, but also won their very first VMA for best pop video for “What Makes You Beautiful.”
It's safe to say that 2012 will be One Direction's year. Also probably 2013. And if puberty takes a while to catch up to these boys, I'll even go as far as to say that 2014 could be their year also.
So even if you're not a diehard fan yet, you're going to want to watch this performance. Because we're only just getting started with our national One Direction obsession.
Get on the bandwagon before it's too late.
UPDATE: Video currently pulled by the man. So this GIF is going to have to do for now. (Thanks to Sass like Louis, Eat Like Niall for making it.)
And this video of them winning their VMAs isn't toooo horrible to watch. Over and over and over.
