Olivia Wilde Doesn’t Think She’s Beautiful Enough For Jason Sudeikis, So I Feel Great

What does that mean, ‘beautiful enough'? Like Jason's personality gives him a certain amount of points and the only way Olivia can compete with that is with a corresponding amount of beauty points? If that makes sense to you, you should read the following quote that Olivia gave to Marie Claire Magazine about when she first met Jason. It shouldn't bother you in the slightest:

“I was just learning to be by myself. He seemed to really see me, see through the bullshit…He was so handsome, and he could dance. I thought, ‘He won't be interested in me; I'm not a contender. He was so cool, so funny – I was such a fan of his and had always fancied his speed and his intelligence. I thought, ‘I'm not beautiful enough or his type.'”

Aside from being totally fine with the fact that a woman categorically about thirteen thousand times more attractive than me doesn't think she's even in the running to attract a funny guy, I'm really frustrated with this statement. Like I said before, I think it's really disappointing that she's only valuing herself in terms of beauty, while she's able to give Jason credit for being discerning, cool, funny, witty, smart, and a good dancer, as well as handsome. Like I'm sure that their relationship is great and all, particularly because they've decided to continue it into eternity, but I'm not obsessed with the way she talks about it. Especially because you're gorgeous, how are the rest of us supposed to feel, bumbling around our lives with our frizzy hair and our cankles and our bad posture and ohmygod I've said too much.
