Not That It’s Any Of My Business, But Is Nicki Minaj Seriously Voting For Mitt Romney?

By  |

I can never tell what's real and what's fake with Nicki Minaj (e.g. her boobs, her clothes, her music, her hair, her etc.), and her newest music is no exception. Nicki contributed some material to Lil Wayne‘s new mixtape Dedication 4, which was just released, and one of the tracks includes her saying:

“I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy bitches is fucking up the economy.”

First of all, let me just say that it's obviously none of my (or anybody's) business the way this woman is voting, but if she's gonna go ahead and put it in a song, I'm gonna go ahead and comment on it. So there.

So wait, you're a Republican? Or…are you making fun of how dumb it is for Republicans to blame the collapse of the economy on all the lazy bitches instead of all the rich bankers? Because let me be clear — I did not fuck up the economy. I went to my job every day and I paid my taxes and I didn't do any insider trading loan speculation nonsense because I frankly wouldn't even know where to begin with how to do that.

Regardless, I don't completely understand where she's going with this, which makes me absolutely positive that conservatives won't, either. After all, if Stephen Colbert was invited to speak at the White House Correspondent's Dinner because the right actually believed he was a conservative, who knows what they think about Nicki Minaj. As far as they're concerned, she could be the living human mascot for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Everything she wears is candy and everything she touches turns to gold…en candy.

Or it's possible that something changed Nicki's opinions? She had previously tweeted her support for universal healthcare, feeling even Barack Obama‘s plan didn't go far enough. Did she maybe get disillusioned and switch all the way over to the Republican side? I'm inclined to think not, but clearly I don't understand this woman or her performance values, as evidenced by my complete lack of enjoyment of the song Super Bass.

Whichever way she's voting doesn't really matter, because bottom line — Nicki has people talking about her again. I guess it's safe to say she's winning the current election. Screw Romney and Obama: Minaj – Wayne 2012.
