Video: Joel McHale Calls Nathan Fillion A ‘Pussy’ For Crying At Comic-Con

By  |

Remember those Nathan Fillion business cards we posted about the other day? It's no surprise that he had to pass them out to fans, since he was everywhere at San Diego Comic Con. An ONTD writer just posted this video she took of TV Guide's “Fan Favorites” panel at SDCC. Also present were Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Maggie Q (Nikita), Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf), and others.

But it was Nathan and Joel McHale — who has two beloved shows, The Soup and Community, currently on the air — who make this video, where Nathan reminisces of the prior day's Firefly tenth anniversary panel. Joel, who's no stranger to working on a bubble show, made a couple jabs about Firefly premiering and then dying two months later back in 2002. He teases Nathan about Joss Whedon‘s post-Firefly career, as well as Nathan getting emotional over all the fans present.

I'll say no more! Watch the video above and then check out the rest of the clips from this great ONTD post. Also, interesting fact: Nathan is deaf in his left ear! He lost his hearing back in 1973. Even weirder, Maggie Q and another panelist also have hearing loss in one ear. Comic-Con, bringing everyone together. Happy sigh.
