Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom Might Just Have The Friendliest Divorce In Hollywood

Yesterday we informed you of the (somewhat predictable) split between beautiful people Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr.  Today, as more details unfold, I've decided that these two might have the most amicable split in all of Hollywood.  Which is… nice.  If divorce can be nice?

So we know they've been separated for a few months at least, and that may very well have given them the space they need to figure out the right way to go about it.  The cynical side of me wants to assume it's all a publicity stunt for the sake of their son, Flynn.  Which is realistic when you're talking about celebrities, let's be honest.  But these two seem to genuinely love and respect each other despite the fact that their marriage didn't work.  Crazy!  Being insanely beautiful probably makes that easier.  I'm just guessing.

Recently, Miranda gushed to Cosmopolitan about her admiration for Orlando.  And now that we know they were separated when she said it, I'm further convinced these two could really set an example for other divorcing couples:

“When I saw Orlando on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet, I was blown away,” she said of his current stint on stage. “For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week — I have so much respect for him.”

That's not all.  Orlando spoke out yesterday and also had some nice, friendly amicable things to say about Miranda: “We're not friends, we're family. It's all good.  Life's a mystery. Things don't always work out the way you want, but it's all good.”

In a world where an hour doesn't pass before LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville are going at each other's throats over Eddie Cibrian, it's nice to see such mature responses from celebrities about something so personal.  Golf claps all around for Orlando and Miranda!
