Ripped From The Pages Of A Hallmark Movie Script: Miley Cyrus Defends Liam Hemsworth In A Bar Fight

By  |

I take back all my earlier melodramatic statements about love being dead. There's no way I can confidently say that anymore after hearing this wonderfully charming story about how Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth spent their weekend together.

And no, they didn't spend it sitting in an OB-GYN's office speculating on an upcoming pregnancy, nor did they spend it buying spells to make Liam Hemsworth look more like Chris Hemsworth.

They spent it the way you and I spent it, drinking away their cares in a bar. Just ordering vodka-sodas allll night long, talking about how much they already miss summer and discussing the excitement of Pumpkin Spice Latte season.

Except twist.

Someone claims that Miley Cyrus allegedly committed criminal battery while in Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel. (You know Beacher's Madhouse, it's like a total madhouse. Mad people everywhere. Just going mad everywhere you look.)

Our friends at TMZ report the following:

The alleged victim claims he and his friends accidentally bumped into Liam's chair and the two camps exchanged words … an argument that quickly escalated. The alleged victim claims Liam got in his face and Miley jumped in the middle to break it up — but not before pushing him away and striking him in the face.  There were no visible injuries.

Holy Lindsay Lohan! What a wonderfully splendidly scandalous evening out with celebrities. Miley Cyrus, a celebrity best known for being a celebrity, jumped to the defense of her boyfriend like a true superhero. And before you start saying that I condone violence, I don't.

A witness at the scene tells TMZ that he saw the argument, but he didn't see Miley touch anyone. So she didn't even have to get violent!

I'm sure she explained the situation politely, promised to tag him in the next twitpic of her midriff and  got the issue resolved before you could say, “Miley, your boob's popping out of your dress!”
