Miley Cyrus Already Has A New Dog, But Isn’t Ready To Love It Yet Despite Its Extreme Cuteness

Miley Cyrus dog Floyd TwitterAs we reported a few days ago, Miley Cyrus‘ dog Floyd died tragically last week and is understandably heartbroken.  I'm sure anyone–myself recently included–can understand the awful, horrible, no-good feelings that come with losing a pet.  Since he died, she's been grieving during her Bangerz tour – breaking down during songs, and, oddly (but so very Miley) singing to an inflatable dog while on stage.  Hey, whatever helps you get through it, Miley.  No judgement. But maayyyyybe getting a new dog practically within minutes of losing your beloved Floyd wasn't the best idea.  If your emotional tweets this weekend are any indication, you're not ready yet, girl.  And no one should know that better than your own mom.  Exxxccept Tish Cyrus is the one who bought Miley the new dog.  Because the best way to get over loss is replacement!

So torn. I love having little Moonie cuddle w me and Mary Jane but just don't know if I'm ready to love again  pic.twitter.com/F6OxiXXepi — Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) April 5, 2014

I mean… MAN IS THAT DOG SO CUTE OMFG.  I get the good intention behind buying your kid a new dog, because Tish probably just wanted to “fix” what was bothering Miley, just like a lot of parents probably do (or so I hear).  But, Tish, hon, your kid is still devastated and needs to feel it in order to move past it.  Maybe you haven't checked her Twitter feed lately, but she's still pretty upset:

Im trying 2 tweet about it rather than screaming and waking up the entire hotel! I wanna fucking screaaam. Im so fucking angry at the world. — Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) April 5, 2014

Look, I got another dog about 10 weeks after saying goodbye to the sweet yellow lab who was part of my life for over a decade.  I'm sure some people I know thought that was a little soon, but it happened to work out very well and it helped me heal.  But I had to feel miserable and depressed for awhile in order to eventually make room for another pup in my heart.  And, Tish?  Miley's definitely not there yet.  She deserves some time to heal. And so does Moonie. (P.S. And, Moonie?  I lost my beloved kitty last month, so if you end up getting tossed aside in this situation please know I would love to carry you around in my pocket.)
