Miley Cyrus Postpones U.S. Tour Due To Illness, But Of Course She’s Still Performing In Amsterdam

As we reported earlier this week, Miley Cyrus is not in great shape right now.  In fact, she's been hospitalized since Tuesday due to a serious and severe allergic reaction to prescription medication.  Scary stuff, right?  Doctors recommended she take up to a month of bed rest to get her health back on track.  Last night, Miley announced that the remainder of her U.S. tour will be postponed due to the health setback, and Instagrammed the following photo to demonstrate just how sick she is of being sick:

So color me a little surprised when, after learning of the tour being postponed, I also read that her European tour will still go on as scheduled. I assumed it didn't start for over a month or two, given her current scary situation.  Uhhh, no.  It opens in Amsterdam (because of course it does) on May 2.  ?!!!

After learning about her predisposed heart condition on top of this week's allergic reaction, I can honestly say I'm really surprised that she'd be heading to Land Of Legal Weed In Many Forms so soon, and following that up with a full-fledged European tour.  I know this is Miley we're talking about, and she's pretty much the poster child for “IDAF” and we love her for it (usually), but come on.  Maaaayyyybe that's not such a good idea.  Miley's had a rough time lately, and I genuinely would hate to see anything disastrous happen because she didn't take enough time to get better.

For Miley's part, she seems to think we have nothing to worry about, because:
