Miley Cyrus Apparently Hates Christina Aguilera So Much That She’s Boycotting The Voice Forever

Miley Cyrus putting in her grill from We Can't Stop video GIFI flatter myself that I'm usually pretty up-to-date on celebrity feuds, but even I had no idea there was something brewing between Miley Cyrus and Christina Aguilera. I don't even know how the two of their paths could cross, honestly, but apparently it's so heated that Miley refuses even to perform on The Voicewhere Christina is a judge.

“Miley is no friend or supporter of Christina, despite the fact they have a lot in common, including long associations with Disney and using some of same people through the years on their respective business teams.”

Apparently the show asked her to appear on its finale last month, but even though Christina is literally not even on the show right now, on account of being one of the ladies on our list of pregnant celebrities, Miley still refused. Apparently the stench of Xtina still lingers in the air around Shakira or something.

The Voice is still Christina’s show and Miley doesn’t want to lift a finger to help that woman.”

YIKES! Strong words, right? Especially considering that this apparently all started from an innocent tweet. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, when Miley wore a pair of chaps onstage during a performance in February, Christina tweeted at her:

Cheers from one dirrty girl to the next @MileyCyrus…wear em’ loud & proud, girl-yes!

…presumably in connection to the fact that Christina used to wear chaps during her Xtina days back in 2002. And also presumably mean as a compliment, which Miley was supposedly not at all open to accepting:

“Miley couldn’t believe Xtina would Tweet about her wearing chaps on stage, reminding everyone that she did it first. It was such a fake compliment and undermined Miley in the process.”

I'm well aware that this report is probably inaccurate, I'm just really enjoying the notion of a feud that sprung up over a goddamn compliment. Keep the flame alive, ladies!
